3D and Modelling for Kids

3D and Modelling for Kids

Sculpture is 3-d artwork created by shaping or combining materials. this course is include forming, carving, collage, gluing and make use of materials such as clay, plaster, paper, tape, recycle material, foam, metal and stones. They will learn fundamental sculpting techniques and get inspired by the animals, food, people and places, as well as from their imagination in a fun classroom environment.

This course introduces children to the basics of 3D modeling, using materials such as clay or papier-mâché to create sculptures and 3D objects. The course is split into two parts, each lasting 12 hours. In the initial levels, students will create simple forms, and as they progress to higher levels, they will tackle more complex designs. This course is part of the fine art curriculum and helps students develop an understanding of form and structure in 3D space.

After completing both parts, students can apply for a KHDA-approved certificate. The course offers up to four levels, allowing further exploration of 3D modeling techniques.

What They Will Learn:

  • Sculpting with clay and papier-mâché to create basic 3D objects.
  • Understanding the principles of form, structure, and space in three dimensions.
  • Developing skills in modeling and creating more detailed and complex objects as they advance.
  • Expressing creativity through hands-on projects in 3D art.

Benefits:

  • A structured, academic approach to 3D modeling, inspired by adult-level fine art programs.
  • Exploration of 3D space through guided projects with clay and other materials.
  • Individualized guidance to build skill and confidence in creating 3D art.
  • A KHDA-approved certificate upon completion of both parts, with the opportunity to continue to advanced levels.

Output:

  • Completed 3D sculptures and models showcasing various techniques.
  • An understanding of form and space, demonstrated through creative projects.
  • A KHDA-approved certificate after finishing two parts, with the option to continue to more complex levels.
